Mile High

So, my friends, I’ve made it to Denver.

And so far, I have seen nothing except the Hyatt, a Bubba-Gump Shrimp Restaurant, and the Colorado Convention Center.

And some mountains, in the distance.

What I see so far, I like.

In the meantime, I’ve been drinking tons of water (I have a fear of altitude sickness, though nothing points to this being an issue for me), and slipping back into a caffeine addiction. Being onsite, in a world full of coffee and diet soda, will do that to you.

Diet soda and bagels, you are the bain of my existence.

But I love you.

Last night we took a trip over to Paramount Cafe for some food and drinks. It’s in this great, open air shopping/restaurant/walking around space, and the food was great.

So was this cool flight of (mini) beers:

So yes, I think I like this place. Up tonight after a welcome reception equals more team bonding over food and spirits at this establishment.

I’ll try and keep you posted on my conference/Denver adventuring, but as you can see from this late post, there’s a lot of running around and far less sitting at ye ole laptop.

Hope everyone had a great Tuesday!
