You guys, yesterday I saw this clip when I was cruising the internet:
And it brought a tear (okay, maybe a few of them) to my eye.
My favorite part, I think, was when he falls out of a headstand and immediately after crashing into a hutch notes that, “Just because I can’t do it today doesn’t mean I’m not going to be able to do it someday.”
That’s an attitude I think we can all get behind.
I’ve been having a little running struggle over here in my neck of the woods (as in, not running enough means it’s getting tougher), and this clip made me realize that obviously, my struggles kind of pale in comparison to some people out there.
I think, that aside from all of our athletic endeavors (and I know that collectively, we have a lot of them), this applies pretty much everywhere you look in life.
Sometimes it just helps to see it in practice.
The message was exactly what I needed.
And so, of course, I thought I would share with my little corner of the world.
So chickadees, as we cruise into the later part of the week, let’s remember to keep moving and to not give up.
That’s not what we were built for.
